The recent July 2018 visa bulletin has brought good news for the Indian foreign nationals. The priority date for the employment-based category 2 for Indian nationals has moved in both the final action dates and dates for filing employment-based categories.
The Final action date moved from 26 December 2008 to 15 March 2008. This is a welcome news as in the previous visa bulletin, the priority date for EB 2 India moved forward only by 4 days. The priority date for EB3 India moved to 1 November 2008 from 1 May 2008. Since the previous few visa bulletins, the priority date for the EB3 India category has continued to move forward which is really a welcome news for the Indian Nationals.
The Dates for Filing of Employment Based Visa Applications for EB 2 India moved to 22 May 2009 from 1 April 2009. Again, the Dates for Filing of Employment Based Visa Applications for EB 3 India moved to 1 May 2009 from 1 September 2008.
Hope so more number of visas are allocated in the upcoming visa bulletins for the long awaiting foreign nationals. Many new bills are being introduced by the Congress and all immigrant activists and supporters are requesting Congress to consider regulations to reduce the huge backlogs so that employers can retain the foreign talent.
